For those of you who cannot attain the teaching this week, there exist suggested solutions for all old exam problems 2008-2013. You find such solution on the course homepage for the actual year. You find links to these homepages on the general course homepage fur MAT 4500.

There will be teaching as usual week 49, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.
We will do problems (mostly old exam problems (See the schedule for details)).
The lectures week 48 will be in NHA UE 26 (Thursday) and VB 123 (Friday).
On Friday I will look at exercises from the book and old exam problems.

The mandatory assignments have now been marked, and the papers are available at the 7th floor of the mathematics building.
Even though Devilry has marked some as FAILED, everyone that did not pass the first time will have another try. The new deadline is Thursday November 13, 14:30.
N.B. In problem 3 (b), mandatory assignment, the space X should be a compact Hausdorff space.The Hausdorff condition was left out in the first version of the problem set, but the text in 3 (b ) has now been corrected.
Due to some misunderstandings, the lecture Thursday October 9th. will be in room UE 26 NHA (not in room 108). This is consequently a correction of the information given in the message below regarding this lecture. The lecture at Friday October th.10 will however be in room 108 NHA.
The lectures Thursday October 9th. and Friday October 10th. will be moved to room 108 N.H.
