Each of the problems 1, 2a, 2b, 2c, 3, 4a, 4b, 5 counted 12.5 points, so that the maximal score was 100. The following scale was used:
85 - 100 A
75 - 84 B
50 - 74 C
40 - 49 D
35 - 39 E
0 - 34 F
The assignment for MAT3500 can be found on the semester page of that course. The problems are the same, but students in MAT4500 are required to use Latex.

The textbook is Munkres: "Topology". There are two editions available, both of which can be used for this course:
In the New international edition, Chapter 14 is missing and Chapters 12 and 13 are listed in the opposite order. Moreover, this edition has a less detailed table of contents and fewer entries in the index. These are the only differences known to me.
