The candidates must show up at 8.45 a.m. on the 11th June at B71 to get assigned an individual time for examination (either 11th or 12th June).
The syllabus from Do Carmo is:
Chapter 1-7, Chapter 8: §1.-4.,Chapter 9:§ 1,2 and § 3 including Remark 3.4 on p. 202., Chapter 11 and 12. (The material in Chapter 0 is regarded as prerequisite for the course)
Because of the Abel Prize Award Ceremony,the lecture Tuesday May 21. 14.15 will be cancelled
The mandatory assignment has now been graded. You will find your paper in the designated shelves in the 7. floor. For those who have to turn in a corrected version a second time, the deadline for this is on Thursday May 2.. 2.30 pm.
The problem set for the mandatory assignment is now posted on the home page (follow the link "information regarding mandatory assignments"). Deadline is April 18.
The lecture Tuesday March 12, 14.15-15.00 will be cancelled (this is due to a funeral that day).
Starting next week (week 4), we have changed the time and place for the lectures. The lectures will be at Mondays from 12.15 -14. at B91(ninth. floor). We will however keep the last hour of the Tuesday lecture, so there will be lectures also on Tuesday 14.15-15 at B63.
