In exercise 1g, you can use the command stepAIC (as given in the R-script)

In exercise 1h, the two different methods relate to forward and backward selection.

In 2b): the right output from cv.lm should have been cv.lm(fit ,k=10)$MSE_sqrt$mean. However, if you have used the output given in the exercise, we will also accept this.
