Digital lectures (important)

As you probably know, the Government of Norway has introduced new infection prevention measures, see this link for more information. In particular:

All teaching and planned events at universities, university colleges and vocational training schools will take place digitally until 18 January.

Since our lectures are on Mondays, this means that our first two lectures will be fully digital. The plan is as follows:

We will use the software Zoom for the lectures, which will be offered live. The first lecture is on Monday 11th of January at 12:15 on Zoom. Click here for more information on how to download and install Zoom. The content of the lectures and the Zoom-link will appear in the section "Schedule" which you can access here.

The lecture will "look like" a regular blackboard/projector lecture on your screen. I will share my screen and use digital pen and whiteboard to lecture. Also, if necessary, I will run the programs on my laptop. I will save the notes and programs I use and make them available on the course page, but I still recommend to take your own notes. Feel free to join with camera and sound whenever you have a question. Remember that recording is not allowed without all the participants' permission. Ask questions if you have! This is a live lecture, so questions are very welcome!

Note: this is the first time I will be lecturing on Zoom (and even live) so expect some funny moments. Also, these restrictions may be prolonged, so we may continue on Zoom. Nevertheless, if we are allowed to, we will continue physically at Blindern, Auditorium 2, in VB's building.
