The result for the digital exam MED5600 (module 6) held 15.6.17 is now available in Studentweb.
Attention, Incoming Exchange Students: Please do not register for a new semester - you can see your results by clicking the menu icon in the upper left corner.
If you want to know the points from your digital exam exam you can contact MED-studieinfo by sending an e-mail from your student email to med-studieinfo@medisin.uio.no or stop by the office. Remember to write the name of the exam you attended. The points will be available from 22 June til and including 13 July.
Right of appeal: Those who did not pass the exam, will receive an email to their student email. This mail will include an explanation of your result and information on how to proceed your further studies and how to appeal the result if that's an option for you....
Reviewing your exam paper and the assessment guidelines.
Once the results of your exam have been published you are given the opportunity to review your answer paper, the exam questions and the assessment guidelines. The results are published on 21 June and the review can take place on either 28 or 30 June.
Place: Meeting room Fortunsdalen, ground floor, Sogn Arena (Klaus Torg?rds vei 3)
Time: Between 09:00-11:30 or 12:30-15:00
Please note: You need to sign up in advance via an electronic form. The form opens when the results are published and closes on 27 June.
Have your candidate number ready as it is required for registration.
You can take notes with a view to a possible appeal, but copying or photographing the material...
Your results are now available on the StudentWeb. As our official results are pass/fail, you will only see a pass or fail here.
I will send an email with Notification of Results to each student and partner university where also an A-F-grade for the digital exam will be announced.
A handmade Transcript of Records will also be sent out between June 23rd and July 20th (the one which can be ordered through StudentWeb only says pass/fail and do not give any details on the content).
You can Reach me Thursday between 1 pm and 4 pm and Friday from 9 am until 4 pm. I will be on annual leave from June 26th until July 10th.

We understand there have been some questions concerning procedures and order of the gynecological tests.
A reasonable order would be:
- Cervical cytology (either with liquid-based or with spatula/brush/slide)
- Microbiological sample (incl. stuarts transport medium)
- Chlamydia, gonorrhea and mycoplasma PCR/NAT
Procedure:
- Cytology shall be taken from where the transformation zone is (portio/cervical canal). The combination brush should rotate 5 times with the tip inside the cervical canal. If there is excess mucus this should be wiped off before sample is taken.
- Swab for microbiological testing should be taken before PCR/NAT, and the swab should touch the portio, fornix posterior and the vaginal walls.
- Test for chlamydia is also taken from the cervical canal. Use a swab to clean the cervix in order to remove excess mucus. Chlamydia is an intracellular bacteria; ro...
Information about meeting point and time schedule for the OSCE-exam for Modul 6 the 13th of June 2017:
A registration desk will be set up in front of the entrance to the seminar rooms. You need to bring a picture ID (student card, passport, bank card with photo, driver license). Line up to register and have your ID ready. You will then receive a white coat and a candidate number to pin on your coat.
All candidates will leave their personal belongings behind in the seminar rooms. You may bring food, beverages and something to read. After a short information session, you will be guided into the closed area where the examination takes place.
Group 1, 2 and 3 will have to wait until 12.45 before you can leave.

Due to technical problems the seminar "Bleeding Disturbancies and Benign Gynaecological Tumors" has been moved to Nye Auditorium 13 in Domus Medica.
It appears that lockers have been removed from the allocated location. Until further notice you can use the lockers opposite the lifts in the basement of Barnesenteret.
The Locks are tricky, but most of them should work when pushed hard before turning.
During week 7 through week 20, renovations will take place at the Department of Reproductive Medicine, locations Rikshospitalet and Ullev?l.
Students should anticipate occasional change of location for their classes.
