Allergies Q & A, 13 May 11.00-12.00 + Lecture from 18 March has been uploaded

Dear students

The Allergies in Children and Adolescent lecture is now updated as a zoom lecture for you, on the resource platform for March 18th.

The lecture is given in sections, clearly marked throughout, and consists of the following topics:

*            Burden of allergic diseases (brief notes on epidemiology and possible causes for the increase seen over time)

*            Allergic sensitisation versus allergic disease

*            Recognizing and managing uncomplicated and common allergies

*            Food allergy

*            Advanced allergy testing

*            Briefly on management

*            Briefly on primary prevention.

Although the total time of the lecture is somewhat extensive, I suggest you take 1-2 sections at a time.

The lecture is slightly re-organised compared to the notes you were provided with previously, although the topics and messages are the same.

For any queries please raise these during the Q&A zoom session on May 13th 10.00-1100.

Kind regards

Karin C. L?drup Carlsen
