Prepare DNA for sequencing analysis

PCR amplification of plasmid DNA

Transfect mammalian cells

Prepare gels for 2h an 2i

Analyze PCR products by gel electrophoresis

Analyze restriction products by gel electrophoresis

 

Thursday 26. August

(i) DNA repair reactions

(ii) DNA sequencing

(iii) Cryo-sections

(iv) Analyze transfected mammalian cells

1315 – 1400    Lecture 7. Construction and analysis of transgenic animals

1415 – 1500    Lecture 8. More methods in molecular biology; DNA repair, reporter systems and RNAi

 

Friday 27. August
