Deadline to hand in your individual essay is Monday 17th of November before 1 pm.
New hours, seminar groups
The seminar group on Tuesday 4 of November has been moved to Monday 10th of November 18.15-20.00, room 830 ES. The seminar group on Wednesday 5 of November has been moved to Thursday 6th of November 15.15-17.00, room 301 Harriet Holters hus. The seminar group on Thursday 6th of November has been moved to 18.15-20.00, room 801 ES the same day.
Information on individual essay
1. The essay must be around 5 pages. Deadline to hand in the essay is Monday 17th of November.
2. You can discuss selection of theme for the essay on e-mail with Judith, judithk(a)student.sv.uio.no or Ann-Cecilie, annbe(a)student.sv.uio.no.
3. Put your name on the list to get supervision for the individual essay Tuesday 28th or Wednesday 29th of October. (These are the only dates that you can get supervision.) You will find the list on the 7th floor (SV building) Monday 13th of October. Bring an outline of the contents / question(s) that you will focus on, and a list of the literature that you have collected so far.
The results of the group exam vil be announced Monday 13. of October at 13.00 o'clock. The results will be published on this home page.
The groups may get five minutes feedback on their home exam on Tuesday 14th of October at 12 o'clock, in the office of Sylvi Endresen and Jan Hesselberg (their offices are in "C-blokka").
Groups that have not yet had any supervision connected to the work with their essay can get that in seminar room 208 ES on Thursday 25th of September between 5 pm and 7 pm.
Important : The deadline for handing in the group exam in SGO2500 has been moved to Friday 3rd of October due to the problems of getting access to relevant litterature at the library. The exam must be handed in at the reception desk at the Institute for sociology and human geography by 1. p.m.
The written exam (3 hours) will take place on the 12th of December.
