From now on Fronter will be used for all new messages and documents   related to lectures, seminars, excercises and reading material.Old documents will be moved to Fronter. Official information about time and place of classes and exams remains on the semester page.

The lecture on Tuesday 28/1 wil be based on 5.1-5.3 in OR.  Section 5.1.8 will be skipped  and in 5.2.4 you you can focus on the general ideas, not the algebra.

The first seminar is held on Wednesday 29/1. You have probably discovered the problem set on the semester page.

Some time NeXT week we hope to move to Fronter as the platform for information and material related to seminars and lectures.

  ECON4310 and ECON4330 overlap in that Ramsey and Diamond type models are applied to open economies in both. Since a great majority of the students has been through ECON4310 before, we shall avoid too much repetition in.  Those who have not gone through ECON4310 before are strongly recommended to prepare for lecture 2 by reading in advance the relevant chapters in Obstfeld-Rogoff and /or the lecture note by R?dseth.
