Course content

As you continue your master’s degree, you open the door to a vast world of possibilities. You may have been told that you can do anything you want, or heard others talk about finding your dream job. However, for most of us, there might not be one dream job that we aspire to trough our career. Throughout your career, you will undoubtedly have many different roles.?

In this course, you will get insight into how you can prioritize and narrow down your motivations and possibilities. You will get tips on how to find out what is most important to you in a job and what your most important values are. You will also learn more about what you can expect from working life.

Learning outcome

Knowledge

You should have:

  • General knowledge of the inner workings of working life
  • Knowledge of what to expect from working life
  • Knowledge of the difference between motivation, values and contribution

You should:

  • Be able to identify what your core values are and how they affect your motivation
  • Be able to put into words what contributions you wish to make through your career
  • Be able to visualize a timeline for your career
