Introductory events
Once every semester the University of Oslo hosts a welcome breakfast for international researchers who have recently joined the institution. The program includes an orientation session providing useful information to newcomers to Norway and UiO followed by a common breakfast and a guided tour of the University Library.
Invitations are sent out by the host department to newly arrived international researchers. The event is also prominently announced on the UiO website, e.g. in the right-hand margin of this web page.
