About ERC

The information below was developed for H2020, but will be relevant for Horizon Europe as well. This page will be updated when new information is known or new routines are developed.

Proposal preparation and support at UiO

Here you will find practical information about the ERC application process and research support at UiO. For ERC Starting, Consolidator, Advanced and Synergy grants, UiO offers information seminars and consultancy support at certain stages prior to the respective deadlines. More information about specific calls and deadlines can be found under News and Events

When the project is granted - support at UiO

In addition to the general contractual process with the Commission, the ERC requires an Supplementary agreement between the Principal investigator and the host institution. This regulates rights and obligations between the parts, and is signed by the University director and the PI. The research support will make sure the SA is prepared for signing.

When the project is granted, it is recommended to hold a kick off meeting with the PI and personnel from the research support, at local and perhaps central level. UiO EU-Office has developed a presentation for ERC project kick off meetings, that can be adapted for the individual projects.
