Application
Tenured staff can apply for support for following activities:
? Conference and seminar participation (with publications)
? Research assistance (see our guide for how to hire)
? Publishing support (including copy editing etc.)
? Research trips
? Other research activities
Temporary staff may apply for publishing support (including copy editing etc.).
Everyone should apply through Nettskjema.
The following should not be applied for here, but included in the plans for your faggruppe:
- Project developments aiming for external funding
- Guest researchers
- Guest lectures
Criteria
It's important that the activity sought funding for aims at leading to a publication.
When handling the applications, the applicant’s publication history over the last three years will be evaluated.
The department will not cover cost for people who are not from the department, unless there are special reasons thoroughly explained in the application.
All funding given is to be used in the same year it is sought, and the funds will be withdrawn if it is not spent (you may apply for the same funding again). You may apply for funding several times within one year. Please let us know as soon as possible, if you know you will not be spending the funds you have been granted.
