E-mail cleanup

Drawing av small peole filling a waste paper basket with emails and documents

We all have to clean up our e-mail! We simply have too much e-mail at UiO, so now we are starting a cleanup initiative. Storing large amounts of e-mail increases the climate footprint of UiO and causes unnecessary expenses. In addition, many people at UiO have confidential data (red data) in their e-mail, and such data must be removed from the e-mail and stored correctly.

The IT Department is piloting the cleanup process, and the experience gained there will be used when the rest the UiO follows suit. But even if the organized clean-up is limited to the IT Department right now, everyone is free to start on their own.
