The Master programme in Public International Law with programme option International Trade, Investment and Commercial Law provides an opportunity for studies of the basic rules of international trade law and international investment law, and to acquire knowledge about legal issues related to international commercial transactions.

The combined study of these subjects, which are based in public international law and domestic legal systems, respectively, will provide a broad and fundamental understanding of the various aspects of international trade and commerce during an epoch of fragmentation within the system and challenges presented by COVID-19, the emergence of the Belt and Road initiative, and the impact of Brexit.

The Masters programme in International Economic Law & Sustainable Development is a 1 1/2-year programme that provides specialised knowledge on a basis of general knowledge of public international law.

The courses offer a context-based approach which highlights linkages between the national, regional, and international levels. In addition, the Faculty offers an exciting series of international public law lunches, guest lectures, and seminars highlighting national and international scholars and practitioners.
