This option will introduce you to the structural framework for the use of force, Responsibility to Protect/Prevent, counterterrorism, cybersecurity regulation, and Peace & Security.

The international community faces hybrid security challenges that require competence across a range of fields of international law.  This program option will introduce you to the structural framework for the use of force, Responsibility to Protect/Prevent, counterterrorism, cybersecurity regulation, and Peace & Security.  In addition, students may choose electives related to natural disasters, climate change, and forced migration. 

The courses offer a context-based approach which highlights linkages between the national, regional, and international levels. In addition, the Faculty offers an exciting series of international public law lunches, guest lectures, and seminars highlighting national and international scholars and practitioners.
