Statistics (programme option)
In today's society, huge amount of data is gathered by those in business, the public sector, universities and research institutes. New technology and increasing digitization greatly contribute to this. In order for the data to provide new knowledge and insights, and to help make decisions, they must be analyzed and interpreted correctly. Statistics is the scientific subject that informs us how this should be done.
