The Center for Interdisciplinary Education (INTED) brings together students from the Faculty of Humanities, the Faculty of Social Sciences, and the Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences at UiO to develop students' interdisciplinary competence. The center's goal is to include students in the development of new interdisciplinary processes. Interdisciplinary competence is key to solving future challenges which require cooperation and critical thinking across the borders of traditional disciplines.

Social and disciplinary skills are required for working in interdisciplinary teams
The ability to adress challenges that cannot be effectively, ethically, or adequately solved from a single discipline
Activities at INTED
INTED offers different activities and plans to develop more over time.
Students seeking to develop their interdisciplinary skills can participate in the center's interdisciplinary workshop.
Teaching assistants in interdisciplinary courses have the opportunity to participate in the interdisciplinary facilitator program.
Student driven activities
Students are key partners in all aspects in all aspects of the center. Students will be involved in the center's leadership, teaching, and evaluation. Academic employees will work alongside students to create programs, courses, and sessions.
