  • relationship between human rights and protection of the environment
  • relationship between free trade and investment agreement and protection of the environment

  • Interpret and apply international environmental rules in a constructive manner, based on sound legal methodology

General Competence: 

  • Understand and participate in the general discourse about the role and relevance of international law in the protection of the environment and sustainable development
  • Understanding of he prospects and limitations of international law – and law in general – in this context
  • Understanding of the relationship between different areas in international law considering the necessity of sustainable development
  • Understanding of the role of international courts in this context
