The lectures this semester will ¡­

The lectures this semester will be given in English, due to the presence of international exchange students.

The normal schedule will be: Lectures on Wednesday and Friday, exercises on Thursday. The exercises will start one week after the lectures. (No lecture/execises Thursday, January 17.)

We use as textbook: Kjell V?yenli: Forelesninger i Klassisk teoretisk Fysikk I (for tidl. emne FYS202), Unipubkompendier (v?ren 2003). Supplementary texts in English: Goldstein, Poole and Safco: Classical Mechanics, 3. edition Addison Wesley (2002); David J. Griffiths: Introduction to Electrodynamics, Prentice Hall (1989). There will also be lecture notes prepared during the course.
