There will be a "Lecturer's round" conducted in Zoom one hour after the start of the exam (i.e., 10:00). A Zoom-meeting will be set up (see annoncement in Canvas which will be posted before the exam). One candidate at a time will be admitted in Zoom using the meeting room function.

Important messages to all students (e.g., clarification of ambiguities in the exam text) will be posted on Canvas during the exam, with notification also given on the semester page.

Wishing you good luck with your exam on June 10!

In general, the following guidelines apply in courses at the Department of Mathematics:

Wednesday April 21 was the last day of lectures. You are encouraged to contact the lecturer by email whenever you have questions about the course curriculum, exam exercises, practical questins about this years exam, etc. Also, remember to fill out and submit the course evaluation form by Friday, April 23. Best wishes for the exam preparations and the exam on June 10!

As you will see under "Examination: Time and place" on the course webpage, there will be a digital home exam in Inspera on June 10, from 9:00 to 13:00. On the department's webpages, I also found an information that "the administration will post information about the formal framework for the written home exam on the semester page for each course. This is also sent out by e-mail to the students".

When preparing the exam paper, I will follow the suggestion from the department that - although all aids are allowed - the exam problems should be close to what is usual in the course. This means, for example, that you will not be asked to do your own original R-calculations during the exam. You may, however, as is common in the course exams, be asked to interpret given R-outputs of some kind.
