Information about seminars in course PED2104

For the individual seminars, the themes are:

1.      Seminar A: Theory for Intervention

2.      Seminar B: Sampling and Research Methods

3.      Seminar C: Effectiveness and Results

4.      Seminar D: Presentation and Recommendation

 

In each seminar, students will work in a group to dissect one published article about a reading intervention.  During the last seminar, they will present their findings to our class before submitting a 3-page paper as a group, which they must pass in order to take the home exam.  Lectures coincide with the seminars, such that the material is more general in lectures and then very applied in the seminars.
