Register your absence from UiO
Depending on the nature and length of your travel and your working commitments you might want to consider the following:
- Register your absence in your UiO e-calendar.
- Record an absence voice mail on your work telephone.
- Set up an automatic out of Office e-mail reply.
- Use self-service portal to register your workplace and job post address or your new home address abroad (dfo.no), in case these differ.
- Register working hours during work travel.
Changing your ticket
- If you need to change your ticket during travelling or have other travel related questions, contact bestilling@berg-hansen.no or dial 08050. All changes that Berg-Hansen makes after already booked travel is associated with a service they provide and will therefore result in additional cost. A price overview can be found in UiO's framework agreement catalogue.
Note: a 300,- NOK fee is charged for queries outside ordinary hours (08:00 – 18:00).?????
Travel insurance and damage report
- If you have paid for your trip using your UiO credit card, you have travel insurance for trips lasting up to 90 days. Please read more about Eurocard travel insurance.
- Note: You must purchase your own travel insurance for trips lasting more than 90 days. Read more about travel insurance during stays abroad.
