MS 365 and software

As long as you are a student at UiO, you get free access to Microsoft 365 (MS 365, formerly Office 365). MS 365 lets you doewnload and install Microsoft applications like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and others to up to 5 devices (phone, computer, tablet) that you own, you can store documents on OneDrive (Microsoft's cloud storage) and use Teams for chat and video conferencing.

When you finish your studies at UiO, you lose this free access, and you have to move documents you have in Teams or on OneDrive to another location.

At UiO, you also have access to any special programs you must use in your studies. If you need to install such, you will be notified by the instructor. You can also use some programs without installing them, through the UiO Program Kiosk. To use UiO Program Kiosk, first download VMWare Horizon to your computer (available for Windows, Mac and Linux). Then you can log in and easily find the program you want to use. Take a look now, and you will know what you have until you need it.
