Last fall, the faculty introduced Panopto as a new solution for lecture recordings. There are some recurring questions, so here are three clarifications about how the faculty uses Panopto:

  • Recorded lectures are offered in certain courses, and it is up to the teacher to decide if recordings will be made. Recording of the lectures is not something that students are entitled to.
  • If the lectures are recorded, the teacher will inform the students in advance.
  • If recordings are made, it can be expected that the recording will be made available within four business days, after the teacher has ensured the quality of the content. Therefore, we ask that you wait until after there four days before inquiring about a pre-announced recording.

Studiebarometeret – the national student survey – is a survey where you can provide UiO with important information on how you experience the quality of your study programme. With your answers you can make the programme better.

The survey is conducted by NOKUT, and commissioned by the Ministry of Education and Research. Nokut sends out a personal weblink to to the survey Monday 24 October.

High response rate is important for us to get solid data on the state of your programme. By participating you can win nice prizes as 5000 NOK gift card, 1000 NOK gift card, drinking bottle, cooling bag and powerbank.

Results are published on www.studiebarometeret.no/eng, as average scores for individual study programmes.
