Last fall, the faculty introduced Panopto as a new solution for lecture recordings. There are some recurring questions, so here are three clarifications about how the faculty uses Panopto:
- Recorded lectures are offered in certain courses, and it is up to the teacher to decide if recordings will be made. Recording of the lectures is not something that students are entitled to.
- If the lectures are recorded, the teacher will inform the students in advance.
- If recordings are made, it can be expected that the recording will be made available within four business days, after the teacher has ensured the quality of the content. Therefore, we ask that you wait until after there four days before inquiring about a pre-announced recording.
