Practicalities

The venue

The symposium will be held in the assembly hall (forsamlingssalen, in Norwegian) at the Harald Schjelderup building, which is located at the Gaustad campus at University of Oslo. Next to the assembly hall, the same building also hosts RITMO and the Department of Psychology.

How to get there

For the details of how to get to the Harald Schjelderup building from downtown, we refer to RITMO's "How to find us" page.

From the airport to Oslo central station, there is the Airport Express train (Flytoget) as well as regional Vy trains. The regional trains (Vy) are a bit cheaper (124 NOK vs. 230 NOK) but do not run as frequently as the Airport Express trains and are crowded more often. You can buy train tickets using the Flytoget app or the Vy app, yet you will also find ticket machines at the airport.

Accomodation

We advise attendees to start searching for accomodation using the Oslo municipality's tourism website, Visit Oslo, which is also worth consulting for inspirations about what else you might wish to do while being in Oslo, beyond attending the symposium. The website provides information on hotels, hostels, and appartments, and has a special section on budget accomodation
